What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence based approach to understanding and remodeling an individual’s behavior. ABA Therapy can be conducted in-home or in school/day care settings in order for child to have the best chance for improving skill deficits while decreasing socially-inappropritae behaviors; and acquiring and improving on independent skills.

At Smile ABA, Parents are not on their own.
We’re here to guide and educate the family on
prominent parent training topics such as increasing social skills, potty training, following directives,
providing behavior reduction strategies, and
increasing independent skills.
Our team is here to listen and offer tools and support that will help you respond appropriately to your
child’s needs and behaviors.
Parent Training
Smile ABA is dedicated to providing each family with
a BCBA and a behavior technician who will provide
evidence-based treatment to your child to
proactively breakthrough the barriers of autism
as well as parent training to help your child
reach their full potential.
• A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) holds a Master’s degree and passed an exam required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. BCBA’s will
conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, conduct parent training and oversee
implementation of ABA interventions.
• Behavior Technicians will work with your child in
a 1:1 setting such as the home or school.
Their work is closely overseen by a BCBA.
